Welcome to the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, a three-day community of folk music and dance at the foot of the Berkshires in east-central New York State.
The 2013 festival will be held August 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.

3rd Generation FRFFer, 23 year old Iris Downey needs our help.
Back in 1999, fester Louise Downey took over as FRFF VENDOR COORDINATOR. An experienced CRAFT FAIR aficionado, Louise brought us into the new century in more ways than we could imagine, turning FRFF into a bona fide craft & food as well as music & dance event. At Louise's side much of the time was her young granddaughter, Iris. With steadfast help from fester, Mary Anne Cahill, Louise stayed with us nearly 10 years, until her untimely passing after battling a long illness. Mary Anne found and trained a new COORDINATOR, Louise's daughter Annie, a published novelist who shared her mom's interest in both fine crafts and Falcon Ridge. Teenaged Iris became part of Annie's staff. FRFF rubbed off on Iris in other ways as she budded into a fine singer/songwriter, applying to our showcase just last year before becoming gravely ill and in need of a kidney transplant.
