site crew haiku, Yes!
arrive early, stay late
Hail! intrepid souls
(In English, haiku are written as three lines, with a syllable count of five, seven, and five on in the first, second, and third line. The kireji, or pause, comes at the end of either the first or second line. A haiku traditionally contains a season word (the kigo) representative of the season in which the renga is set, or a reference to the natural world.) _________________ Err on the side of mercy.

So here is my question on this. I have been coming for about 15 years and have always wanted to do setup but never had time off from work to do it. Now that I have this teaching gig I have summers off and can do it, and I am good with a hammer and common sense.
Is it too late to try to sign up for this activity? Would I have been able to get in on this anyway (I am betting that it is too popular of a group and is filled up from last year's crew...)
Thanks,
Tomes |

Not necessarily.... check with Barbara Jesse. Dan and Bill are usually looking for a little fresh blood!

For those wanting to get a foot in the pre-fest site crew door, I would recommend staying afterwards to break down. You get to know some people and have a chance to prove yourself. Also, who wants to go home after Sunday? I, for one, like to postpone re-entry into the real world for as long as possible. _________________ Occasional Pirate |
