Online surveys?

Postby sarah3335 » Mon Jul 28, 2008 3:51 pm

I had picked up a survey sunday to fill out, but it got soaked in the rain and I did not see anymore around, but would still like to fill one out, so I was wondering if it was possible to put one up online for people to fill out...

Someone said you could email it in..

I also missed my chance due to the storm. Someone told me there was a way to do it online. Also, I read something about surveys being emailed in.

But I cannot find a link or any information about it anywhere on the website.

I got mine in on time....and won the eight-pack of tickets to the Newport Folk Festival.

Doing the survey on-line would be a great idea all around. It would save the costs of printing and mailing. At the very least, perhaps a PDF file that can be printed off by anyone at home and mailed in.

Count me in as another person who didn't get a chance to turn in a form before the storm hit. I want to make sure my Emerging Artist votes count!

Rescued surveys

Postby benazeman » Wed Jul 30, 2008 2:07 pm

In the aftermath of the hailstorm, we found many mud-soaked surveys. We dried them out and submitted them - those that we can read, at any rate!

The plan *is* to have the survey available online, to my knowledge. Watch for updates on that. :)

If/when it happens I hope there is some way to increase the probability that people who participate were actually at FRFF 2008. I do not like bringing up the dark side, but there are many artists who routinely activate their "troops" to "stuff the ballot box" for online surveys and contests.

Perhaps for the rising artists the solution would be count only ballots collected on site or mailed by the end of July, plus votes of the judges.

For the other two "choice" responses (who should return / who should be invited) maybe old fashioned snail mail is the solution. Whatever the method chosen, I am sure management will see through any misuse/abuse and choose artists who fit the FRFF culture.

Just curious - how are we supposed to e-mail it since we can't fill out the form w/out printing it out...? :?

Thanks

Survey PDF

Since the survey is a PDF file, you need a program to convert it to a document that can be filled out.
