I signed up for Front Gate Ticket Sales, Food Ticket Sales, Hospitality, Check-In

Hopefully I'll get one of those! :-)

I will!

Any idea on when you find out if your application was accepted and for which crew, etc?

So when do you usually find out if your application has been accepted. I have not heard from anyone, I've tried emailing twice, and my check for tshirts has not been cashed. So I am not sure what to do/think.

I need to know if I need to make sure I get a camping ticket if for some reason my application has not been accepted. :?

The email I got from Barbara said: You should receive a green card sometime in june but as of right now you are all set. I didn't send any money for my T-shirt(s) yet. I think the volunteer info they just posted says to pay for them when you get there (?? not sure I have that right but I think so. In the past I've sent the check out early.) I know it's a drag waiting to hear but I wouldn't worry too much if I were you. The volunteer info page also says that if you're flexible with your assignments, you're pretty much sure to get a spot on some crew.

Ok, so I sent in my application (it was a link to an old one) because they still hadn't posted new information...They are basically the same thing though.

I have not received ANY sort of confirmation (even via email) and I have reached out via email to see if it had at least been received and didn't get lost in the mail, etc.

I honestly think that at the very least when someone sends in an application they should email the applicant to let them know it has been received and when they can expect further confirmation/details/etc.

I'm just worried because I do not have $125-$145 extra just laying around in case I need to purchase a ticket last minute, and I can't afford to buy a ticket and risk eating the money either.

I feel like unless you are a returning volunteer there isn't a lot of really great info for folks who are first-time volunteers or even just considering volunteering.

Just $.02 from one anxious girl... :P

Yay, yay, yay!! I got an email last night saying that my application was received and that I will be getting something in the mail towards the end of June beginning of July!!

I'm so excited! Now just to wonder what work crew I am going to end up on. If it's one of my four choices I will be beyond thrilled and good to go!!!

I've recently volunteered to help out this year, by filling out the form and sending it via e-mail. And was wondering about the likelihood of getting accepted to one or however many of these crews. I hope its pretty good, I'm actually pretty exited about it.
Thanks-

Michael, from the volunteer info page:

How will I know I have been accepted?
If you are flexible and answer "YES" to will work another crew if my selections are full, you can be assured of a position. If you are accepted, you should see a confirmation packet in the mail no later than the second week in July. If you apply online close to the deadline, you may only receive a confirming email. So get your application in EARLY!!!!!

So I'd say the chances are pretty good. :)

I noticed, too, that the volunteer info page says that volunteers will get staff meals two times a day. That has changed...used to be all meals. Does anyone know what meals will be provided (breakfast & lunch? lunch & dinner?) Just want to know so I can plan accordingly.

Barbara told me today that it is breakfast (served til 11:00?) and supper (starting at 4:30?). Something like that. I was asking because I am a new volunteer and didn't have a clue. I am on food ticket sales. :) They are still looking for volunteers.

How did you find out what crew you are on?

That makes me nervous that they are still looking for volunteers when some applicants haven't heard back at all...

I'm not the only one who isn't getting any info either...I have a friend who applied to volunteer and hasn't heard anything...

I applied by phone and Barbara put me on that crew. She said I would get the official packet in July.
