Massage therapy at FRFF

John, I'm so sorry that you've had no response to your post. As someone who has volunteered in the past, I think you massage-folks are AWESOME! Thank you so much for helping ease our aches and pains.

Volunteers

My husband is a Spinologist (pronounced Spine-ologist) and has been wondering how to go about volunteering, specifically to do spine checks for the volunteers. He did it for many years at the Philly Folk Fest. Is John the person he should speak with to ask about volunteering?

Hi John -
I volunteered for the first time last summer, and thought the massages were awesome. In fact, I was thrilled to hear that Alecia works in NJ, and have gone to her here as well. thanks!

I, too, wish I lived closer to NJ.
Her help with my injured foot, and her "gracious way of being", were something that really boosted my morale and whole experience as a volunteer.
Though I do not generally get professional massages, if I lived in NJ, I would be seeking her out for massage.
Though I have only had 1 massage since I started volunteering in 1997, I really appreciate that they are available to FRFF helpers. It is one of the many things that remind me (and us) that we are appreciated as volunteers.
