Confirmation

Postby Notlob » Mon Apr 12, 2010 10:04 pm

From the volunteer page

How will I know I have been accepted?
If you are flexible and answer "YES" to will work another crew if my selections are full, you can be assured of a position. If you are accepted, you should see a confirmation packet in the mail no later than the second week in July. If you apply online close to the deadline, you may only receive a confirming email. So get your application in EARLY!!!!!

Second week of July is rather late to plan one's summer. We are asked to submit "early" (I mailed my form in February), is it unreasonable to ask that (for returning volunteers at least) we be informed before we start making our Summer plans, say April or so?

I agree this would be nice - and I'm only waiting to mail in my form because I have an unanswered question regarding t-shirt money. Anyone know if the volunteer e-mail address is maintained regularly? Like, more than a few times a month in the "off season?"

I do not know how often Barbara checks that e-mail address. But, you might try asking the t-shirt money question here.

Likely someone here may know the answer. If not, perhaps it will get forwarded on to Barb or someone who can answer it more quickly for you.

Have people gotten confirmation yet? I'm starting to worry that my form got lost.

No confirmation yet. Probably it is too early to worry.
